HOMAK

Upholding a tradition of excellence for over 75 years.

Founded in Chicago in 1947 by Sigmund H. Danziger, Homak began as a producer of steel kitchen cabinets but soon expanded in the 1960s, introducing a range of hardware products like toolboxes and tool cabinets.

After Sigmund’s death in 1979, his wife, Gertrude, steered the company into new territories, including the automotive and sporting goods markets, further expanding Homak’s reach.

In 2005, Homak was acquired by JVA, leading to the relocation of its headquarters to the Wampum Underground Commerce Center in western Pennsylvania. This strategic move signaled the start of a renewed focus on innovation and excellence in tool storage and security solutions, ushering in a new era for Homak that continues to honor the proud traditions of its past.
